Hand over the gold!

Hey there, happy Monday! What’s up? How’ve you been? In this week’s newsletter, we’ll have: My week in a (lazy) nutshell Ursula trying to make Zamo share Iggy’s gold Another charming and sensitive poem from Myles Blog updates Song of the Week: Unknown Hinson This week’s fake holidays MY WEEK IN A NUTSHELL The big news, of course, is that the book is now out. Ricky Reports from the Fall Fair

Hey there! What’s up? How’ve you been? We were supposed to get rain this week but nary a drop actually fell. I did see rain clouds off the the south of my town but apparently I have to water my own flowerbeds. Oh well. It’s not actually fall until next week, but I’m seeing a few hints of changing colors. Burlap & a bar-band Van Halen tribute

Hey there, Reader! What’s up? How’ve you been? This week was my parish’s picnic/BBQ and my contribution to the planning/set-up was primarily in decorating our photo booth. The event...

A couple new doodles & a classic Can-Con rock banger

Hey there, Reader! What’s up? How’ve you been? It’s still up to around 30C in the afternoons where I live, but the fall is starting to announce its imminent arrival in small ways. Like me having to wear a long-sleeved shirt for my morning walks. Or the way that the local Winners is starting to sell corduroy jackets. I bought one, which looked charcoal/black in the store’s lighting but chocolate brown in the sunlight as I was taking the bag out of my trunk. I might actually return it, dunno....

Happy August!

Hey there, Reader! What’s up? How’ve you been? Welcome to August! Where I live we were blessed with rain last weekend and cooler temperatures all week, which was a nice change from a week and a half ago when it hit 37C in my neighborhood. By Friday we were back up to 30C, but we cooled down for a lesser batch of rain the last couple days. You know what happens after rain… all the weeds go berserk and blow up. At least, that’s what I’m blaming it on, not me being distracted and lazy about...
